Payment We require full payment at time of reservation. Your card will be charged when you click "Accept" on the confirmation page – we do not “hold” spots. We accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover. We do offer a $10 per rider CASH discount. In order to receive the cash discount, you must CALL and reserve over the phone. We cannot apply this discount retroactively to credit card reservations.
Weather If we should have to cancel your activity due to weather, we will reschedule your activity or provide you with a full refund. Cancellation due to weather is at discretion of the guide. Please arrive at the barn at your scheduled time regardless of the weather. Please bring a raincoat. If it is sprinkling and not thundering & lightning we will ride. The weather can change very quickly on the Outer Banks so we generally do not make a determination on the weather cancellations until the time of the scheduled ride.
Cancellations & Refunds& Rescheduling We will provide a full refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled activity. No refund will be given for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to activity. We cannot cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of ride time. Same day cancellations will not be rescheduled. Guests that simply do not show up for their ride or do not call in advance of ride time will not be issued a rain check.
Rain Checks A rain check is a non-expiring voucher which allows you to schedule your activity for a future date if you are unable to complete your scheduled activity and cannot reschedule during your stay on the Outer Banks. Rain checks do not have to be used by the person to whom they were issued – so don’t lose them. Equine Adventures is not responsible for lost or stolen rain checks. If you have a rain check and would like to schedule your activity, simply call reservations, book your date and time, and tell your reservationist you have a rain check.
Waivers Every participant must complete a waiver prior to riding. Any participant under the age of eighteen (18) years old must have the waiver signed and completed by the child’s parent.
