Weight There is a 225 lb. weight limit for riders. We strictly enforce our weight limit for the comfort of our horses. We ask that if you have riders in the 200- 225 lb range that you call to make your reservations. This will allow us to arrange for a suitable horse for all riders. We want to accommodate every rider but also want to look out for the horses health.
Experience All of the horses at Equine Adventures are beginner friendly. Most of our riders have little to no riding experience. We have horses to accommodate all riding levels. We do our best to match you with a horse based on what you tell us your riding ability. Please do not over estimate your ability when making reservations. We want everyone to have a fun ride!
Health Please be sure that all riders in your party are in good physical condition. If you have any doubt please check with your physicians prior to booking. People with back or knee problems, hip replacements or circulation problems shouldn't ride without consulting a doctor. Pregnant women CANNOT ride with Equine Adventures. If any rider has a questionable medical issue PLEASE check with your physician.
Riders with any concerns (physical, mental, emotional) should let us know before the ride so the issues can be addressed. We would like to make it possible for everyone to ride and we are willing to go the extra mile to make it happen. Please keep in mind that refunds are not offered if you decide not to ride at the last minute or cannot complete the ride due to health issues.
Gratuities Your trail guides never expects tips but they are always appreciated. Gratuities are at guest discretion. Your guide arrived two hours before the ride time to prepare and while you are enjoying your ride your guide is busy answering questions, adjusting tack, taking pictures, picking up dropped items, giving riding instructions and watching out for hazards on the trail and the beach.
