  • All of the horses at Equine Adventures are beginner friendly. Most of our riders have little to no riding experience. We have horses to accommodate all riding levels. We do our best to match you with a horse based on what you tell us your riding ability.  Please do not over estimate your ability when making reservations. We want everyone to have a fun ride!

  • Your trail guides never expects tips but they are always appreciated.  Gratuities are at guest discretion. Your guide arrived two hours before the ride time to prepare and while you are enjoying your ride your guide is busy answering questions, adjusting tack, taking pictures, picking up dropped items, giving riding instructions and watching out for hazards on the trail and the beach.  If your guide has gone out of their way - or just made your ride wonderful - you are welcome to show appreciation with a tip.

Everyone will meet in the welcoming area. Our horses will be ready and waiting for your arrival. Take this time to say hello! All riders must complete a waiver prior to riding. Any participant under the age of eighteen (18) years old must have the waiver signed and completed by the child’s parent.

Our guides will go over the ride rules and instructions with you and let you ask any questions you may have. After everyone is ready to go, we are off! It will be a 45 minute ride through the woods and Maritime forest crossing through several water holes until we reach the beach.

At that time our guides will go over the beach rules, adjust stirrups, tighten girths (saddle belts) and answer any questions.
